My First Post Here! :)

Well, I caved and decided to create a blog for my girlfriend's and my new venture in creating lots of... well... stuff. :) Whimsical things like big chunky hemp necklaces chock full of beautiful glass beads that you just want to stare at for hours. Or neat little polymer clay beads in fun shapes that play with one's imagination. Or cute little animal sculptures, stuffed animals, and much more... between the two of us, we make a lot of things!
So far, we've been enjoying these things ourselves, and of course I've made a few sculptures and necklaces and what-not over the years that I've given away to friends and family or sold at small local events. But recently, we've had some outside interest and so we've opened up a shop on Etsy and have been devoting more time to creating things to share with people.
I guess I should introduce us. :) We're a dynamic team of 20-somethings. I'm Kelley G. - I make all the sculpted stuff, sewn stuff, and I draw too. I'm a girl that will never tire of cartoons, a vegan, and an avid animal lover. My girlfriend is Katy B. and she's a Real Estate Agent by day, and amazingly awesome hemp necklace creator by night! She also loves animals, nature, and good music. I never saw necklaces like hers, and was instantly intrigued with her unique creations. After teaming up, we've made an unstoppable creative duo! :) We draw a lot of our inspiration from Nature, with a good mix of Whimsy. We also live on the beautiful West Coast in California.......
Hence our name. :)

So in short, what you can see here are things like WIP pics of stuff we're workin' on, thoughts and ideas on stuff we're thinkin' on, and probably lots of amusing photos of our critters. ;)

That's Weston, by the way, our Pitbull/Sharpei/Rotty mutt. :) We love him very much. We torture him with hats and hoodies and lots of kissies.
